How is it that I remember the early days of motherhood so clearly and yet barely at all?
There isn’t a memory of one day. It’s a collection of moments, out of order and hazy around the edges. What I’m left with is a feeling - a memory that lives in my senses.
Hi, I’m Elizabeth. I’m a family and newborn photographer based in Columbia, SC. Yes, I have a fancy professional camera but my camera roll (probably) looks just like yours, Hundreds (okay, thousands) of iPhone photos of my two little boys and almost none of which I'm in myself. So let's change that.
I believe these moments should be captured. And they should be captured with you in them - holding your baby, playing with your littles, in love with your partner. You, exactly as you are right now. Caught in the moment before it’s released.
I meet you where you are. Not just physically, but emotionally. Every session is different because every family is different.
I am here to watch, observe, and wait. Wait for the perfect moment when the light hits just right and your toddler has a wave of pure joy. When a little one needs a second to hold on to the people they love most in the world. When the chaos reaches the point of no return and you just have to let it wash over you because that is often what parenthood is like.
I'm not here to tell you where to look or when to smile, I'm here as a witness to where you are right now. To document the moment, alive and lived in.
